4) How does Marcus Rashford's online presence use the narrative of his childhood upbringing to create a positive brand identity?
Since Marcus Rashford didn't have a lot growing up, he is using his advantages now to give the youth what he didn't have.
5) How does Kim Kardashian's website and social media promote other media products or websites using the Kardashian brand (e.g. Keeping Up With The Kardashians TV show)?
Her website shows images of her wearing her shapewear and makeup, it also promotes the Kardashian's reality, Keeping Up with The Kardashians.
Representations
1) How does Marcus Rashford use different aspects of mise-en-scene (e.g. clothes/costume/ settings/locations) to create representations of himself on his website and social media?
He was wearing a suit which connotes his formal and professional side and him wearing his football kits shows his main career and what he enjoys to do.
2) What examples can you find of website pages, social media posts or aspects of his brand that create a positive representation of Marcus Rashford? You may wish to comment on his discussion of family or his campaigns - his page on the FareShare campaign website may help with this question.
All of the charity work he has done in the past e.g. Providing Free School Meals for the youth and providing food for people who cannot afford it.
3) How does Marcus Rashford's online presence challenge stereotypes? Think about gender (masculinity), race/ethnicity, social class or football here.
Him writing books about football which is mainly targeted toward boys reinforces the fact that most boys are particularly illiterat and have low reading ages. In addition, it also has a stereotypical view that all boys play and enjoy football.
4) What representation of celebrity is created by Kim Kardashian's website and social media? How are audience encouraged to view celebrity?
Kim Kardashian mainly want to self promote and gain from her business instead of helping and giving to others. The audience aree encouraged to view Kim Kardashian as a perfect person who has whatever she wants.
5) What gender stereotypes are reinforced or challenged in Kim Kardashian's online presence?
The stereotype Kim Kardashian challenges is that females are expected to look perfect especially since Kim Kardashian has never had any imperfections.
